Hi There.

I'm Caitlin Corsetti, and I'm a 19 year old model living in Atlanta, Georgia. I am currently a student at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa double majoring in Telecommunication & Film and English.

I always wanted to go to college, and I'm so glad that I put my education first over everything else. I had an agent ask me if I was willing to give up going to college to further my modeling career, and I said no. Education is so important, and I can still model while I'm in school so why would I give up something I think is a valuable asset? I could probably be traveling all over the world and working consistently if I had decided to get home schooled when I was younger and make modeling my number one priority. Modeling of course is my dream, but I wanted to focus on school.

Anyway, I graduated from Holy Innocents' Episcopal School in 2008. Throughout my high school career I modeled here and there for a few projects and walked in our school fashion shows. I really got into it when I became a hair model, thanks to my amazing hair stylist Amber Smalls, for Toni & Guy hair salon. Eventually, I was called by John Casablancas of Atlanta and told to come to their casting call, and after that they offered to accept me for training.

John Casablancas was an interesting experience. We are always told not to pay for things when it comes to modeling and agencies and such, but for training I think it's okay. It was pricey, but parts of it were worth it. I learned a lot at JC, and then was signed with MTM Atlanta. And after I got signed I didn't hear from them again. I received no phone calls or information on castings so I decided to take matters into my own hands and get a lot of TFP work done to expand my portfolio. I heard MTM has recently gone under new management and I wish them all the best. I am currently seeking representation with a new agency.

I love modeling so much, and it's something I've always wanted to do. I used to pose in front of every camera or mirror I saw when I was little. I remember my very first fashion show when I was five years old. I had just broken my wrist and had a hot pink cast, but I still rocked it. I knew at that moment as I was strutting down the runway in my puffy winter jacket that I wanted to model.

Aside from modeling, I'm also a freelance writer and blogger/video blogger. I write for College Candy, which you should definitely check out. I'm in the process of writing a book, so be on the look out for excerpts and things. I'm also an artist and may be selling some work in the near future so keep your eyes peeled. I'm full of surprises.
